Repair kit for Audi A6 C6 Q7 ( 2004-2009) 4F0910852 4F0905852B J518 steering lock
The repair kit is intended for the repair of the steering lock fitted to the below vehicles and others:
Audi A6: 2004 - 2009
Audi C6: 2004 - 2009
Audi Q7: 2004 - 2009
In the kit:
1 x 10 Pin Relay
3 x Micro Switches ((2 of them with spring plate))
A faulty micro switch or relay can cause one or more of the following:
• It takes several attempts to start the vehicle
• Steering lock fault code 00288 (steering lock actuator N360)
• Steering wheel warning shows orange or red
• Clicking noise when the key is inserted
• The vehicle will not start
• The vehicle is immobilized
Providing you can still start the vehicle, even though it may take several attempts then recoding / reprogramming is not required, you simply fit the module back in place!
